1. User Agreement and Acceptance

By making a donation or visiting the official website of SMBF (https://santmanasbhushan.org/), users automatically agree to the organization’s terms of use. These include:

  • Consent to data usage as per the privacy policy.

  • Acceptance of the conditions under which donations are collected, processed, and utilized.

  • Compliance with local and national laws concerning charitable contributions (santmanasbhushan.org).

2. Donation Processing & Security

  • Payment Methods: Donations can be made via UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and other digital modes supported by the site’s payment gateway.

  • Security Measures: The site uses SSL encryption and industry-standard payment gateway protection to ensure donor information is secure.

  • Currency: Donations are accepted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

Note: SMBF clearly states it does not store card or banking details on its servers (santmanasbhushan.org).

3. Receipt and Acknowledgment

  • Donors receive an automated email receipt as soon as the transaction is successful.

  • This receipt may serve as proof for income tax exemption under Section 80G, if applicable (to be confirmed based on the donor’s eligibility and the foundation’s certification status).

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

The foundation has a strict no-refund policy on donations. Once a transaction is complete:

  • No cancellation or refund is allowed unless it was a duplicate transaction or a technical error.

  • Refunds (if applicable) must be requested within 7 days of the donation and are subject to review

  • Refund will be credited within 8-10 days to the original source of payment method

5. Use of Donations

  • All funds raised are earmarked exclusively for animal welfare projects, primarily:

    • Feeding and housing cows

    • Medical care

    • Shelter maintenance

  • SMBF pledges to use donations efficiently and transparently, with periodic reporting available on its website and social platforms (santmanasbhushan.org).

6. Donor Information and Privacy

  • SMBF collects the following personal data:

    • Name

    • Email

    • Phone number

    • PAN (for 80G receipts)

  • The data is never sold or disclosed to third parties without consent unless required by law.

  • Donors can opt out of future communications by contacting the foundation directly.

7. Organizational Status and Legitimacy

  • Incorporated on 3rd February 2022 under the Companies Act, India, as a Not for Profit Section 8 Company 

  • Actively running donation campaigns with a target of ₹7,00,000 for cow rescue and shelter operations (santmanasbhushan.org).
